  1. Make the Peach Syrup
    In a small saucepan, combine sliced peaches, sugar, and 1 cup water.
    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until peaches are soft and syrupy.
    Strain through a fine mesh sieve (save the syrup and discard solids). Let cool.

  2. Brew the Tea
    Bring 4 cups water to a boil.
    Remove from heat, add tea bags, and steep for 10–15 minutes.
    Remove tea bags and stir in ¾ cup sugar until dissolved.
    Add 2 cups cold water and let cool slightly.

  3. Combine and Chill
    Stir peach syrup into the cooled tea.
    Refrigerate for 1 hour or until thoroughly chilled.
